About the Project

A personal environment study exploring Lumen global illumination, modular construction, and PBR material workflows in Unreal Engine 5.

The scene features a water-filled interior with post-apocalyptic dressing — broken concrete, overgrown surfaces, and dramatic volumetric light. Trim sheets were used extensively to keep texture memory low while maintaining surface detail across varied geometry.

My Responsibilities
Modular Construction — Built the environment from a custom modular wall, floor, and ceiling kit.
Trim Sheet Design — Authored a multi-surface trim sheet covering concrete, metal edge, and organic rust variations.
Lumen Lighting — Set up sky portal, bounce light, and emissive fill for the interior Lumen solution.
Water Material — Custom water shader with depth-based tinting, foam at geometry intersections, and ripple normals.
